The idea of home is indeed an idea. Home isn't so much a city, an address or even a spot on the map. Home lives in us, rather than the other way around. The idea of home and nostalgia is an invitation to look within. To seek ourselves within. Who are we when we are at peace; when we are rested, when we are unguarded yet safe?
Sheehij Kaul is an illustrator based in New Delhi. Her works explore nature, human forms and architecture, are consciously introspective, set in otherworldly spaces, often alluding to inner dialogues and unclosed loops.
